Ditto collects no data. Period.
The text snippets you save in Ditto are stored only on your own device — in the app's private storage on iPhone, or in your browser's local storage on the web version. They are never uploaded, synced, or transmitted to us or to anyone else.
Nothing. Ditto has no accounts, no sign-up, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind. The iPhone app and its keyboard make no network requests. We do not collect any information whatsoever.
The Ditto keyboard shows your squares inside other apps and types a square's text when you tap it. It never asks for iOS "Full Access", so it has no network access and no way to send anything anywhere. It reads only your own squares from Ditto's private storage. iOS shows the same general notice about third-party keyboards for every keyboard that is not Apple's; in Ditto's case nothing you type is stored, analyzed, or transmitted — the keyboard looks at the text field only to decide whether to add a blank line before the next snippet.
Ditto is free for the first year of use; after that, Ditto Pro is a yearly subscription bought through Apple's App Store. Apple handles the payment. We never receive your name, payment details, or Apple ID — only an anonymous receipt that says a subscription is active, which is kept on your device. You can manage or cancel the subscription in Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions.
If you use "Share my list", the snippets you chose to share are encoded into the link itself and travel only through whatever channel you send that link with (for example, your own messages app). We never see them.
